I caught the ride but missed the show. ;-)

I saw it both at 10 & again at one but near the end of the one AM broadcast my tv got frozen in the middle of a commercial for car insurance so I just turned it off.

I saw this one a few months ago.
It was interesting.

After telling people about the show last fall, and trying twice to record it myself...and failing, I finally got to see the show myself last night.

I wasn't totally blown away by it, but it was interesting to see how challenging the weather was for them. I figured the weather would be bad in the winter on the coast like that, but that even surprised me.

And I don't typically have a problem with heights, but when they were running that test car around the perimeter of the course, those guys hanging to the track by ropes only were something to watch.

Not a bad show, but I thought the narration was a bit too melodramatic for a documentary on the construction of a roller coaster. I understand that they faced some challenges, but c'mon. Then again, I find it annoying and insulting to watch the news because I cannot stand the way most newsfolk deliver it.

Ratings. Bah. Just report the s***.
