Kingda Ka question re taking construction photos

My dad drives a delivery truck and every month he makes a stop at the Safari; this month, that stop happens to be tomorrow. In order to deliver there, he must drive right next to the construction area. I am rather excited to see how much progress has been made with the construction, so, I hand him my digital camera and ask him for a couple specific shots. However, he is hrather worried that he could get in trouble for stopping and taking pictures (I don't want to settle for drive-by shots.)

I know nobody can know for sure, but do you really think Six Flags would care?

Whatever the case, if he comes home with any good ones, I'll post a link to them tomorrow evening.

Don't they have a two-hour rest area in the parking lot there at SFGAdv during the off-season? I thought I saw a picture of the sign before...if there is, there should be no problem taking pictures while he's stopped there.

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

Just wondering but what's he deliverying?

He delivers water.

Wow, you know, that hill taken at 100 mph is going to deliver some pretty crazy, continuous air.

I'm starting to get a bit worried...how long would it take to break up the asphalt surrounding the ride, put in all the theming for the new land, all before the season starts again? I mean they do have 3-4 months...but at the same time, how much manpower is needed and time to do all of this? Is it possible? (asking those with knowledge/experience with other parks putting entire new themed sections in)

Oops wait...after looking at an online (more extensive update) to the coaster...apparently there already is dirt underneath the ride...so maybe they did break the asphalt up there. *** Edited 12/4/2004 6:35:16 AM UTC by BigJim4Life***

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

That is going to be one intense ride. I can't wait until spring. Hydra, Turbulence, Kingda Ka, and I still have to hit Tsunami. Its a good time to live south central, PA. Four new coasters within 2 and 1/2 hr drive.
Did you notice the parking lot / asphalt is gone ?
Only sand & dirt underneath Kingda Ka now...
Didn't Joe say something along the lines of they probably wouldn't have the time to put in dirt/plants, etc? Joe you've let me down. Shame Shame!
Theming is nice. I'm still waiting for someone to theme X-Flight...
