Kingda-Ka is now at SFGA! (Funny radio ad)

I had to share this...

I live inj Madison, WI and We have one of those newer format radio stations named "Charlie FM" here (there's usually one in every larger/mid market now over the past 3-4 years - the "We play everything" variety, and they are all owned by clear channel and have a marketing promo giving them a "name") www.1051charliefm.com

Anyhow, I was listening to a promo how they are giving away a chance to win 2 tickets to Great America. Standard, normal ad. Then at the end of the promo they add on the humorous line that says, just don't eat 7 hot dogs and three plates of nachos before getting on Kingda-Ka like we did.

So me being me, I start thinking in my head, I wonder if 7 hot dogs and 3 nachos would be more than 2 tickets..... then suddenly it dawns on me that they said Kingda-Ka.

Needless to say, I had a good laugh :)

Technically, it is at SFGA. SFGA could mean SFGAm or SFGAdv. I hate that acronym SFGA. Sorry.

Yah, they should have said "Batman." ;)

Another duu-urh on my part in the title. :) oh well.

I had to read your post multiple times to understand what you were talking about. I'm assuming you live in Chicago?
The radio station in the link is advertising tickets to Great America.

That's what I get for posting after my bedtime.

I live outside of Madison, WI... Just a few miles away from Little A-Merrick-A actually.

Ok, so the topic title should say SFGam, but on the radio they directly mention Great America by name correct?
People, he lives near Madisson, which isn't extremely far from SFGAm. The radio station was advertising free tickets to SFGAm (that's Six Flags Great America), but one of the guys mentioned eating too much junk food before riding Kingda Ka, which is at SFGAdv (Six Flags Great Adventure). He had a good laugh at the radio station's mistake.

Now was that so hard to understand? :)

LOL, thanks for posting this.

maybe SF is pulling a CF by moving KK to SFGADV, like moving XF to KI from GL...
;) sorry, couldn't resist.

It wasn't hard to understand after the inclusion of his hometown, rablat5.
He must've added that in his edit. Even still, he did say Great America in his post and not Great Adventure.
