Kingda Ka Closed again???

Coasterfreak2, I was there all day too. I had on the black TTD shirt. ;) The first time my brother and I went on KK, the ride op saw my shirt, and said hey you have to get off you have on a TTD shirt. :)

My dad went to guest relations and complained about the lack of flats open all day long. Rolling Thunder only had one side open, and when we asked why, the op said because there weren't enough ops. working for the other side to run. :( A few other ride ops. said this was the reason for other rides not working. Also, when we entered the park, we were first in line for one of the turn stiles to enter, and they made us move to another line because there wasn't enough security.

Also, has anyone here seen the extra KK train while on Rolling Thunder? It's where Viper was. I wasn't sure if it was a KK train, but it looked like one.

Today, KK was open some and down some. Imagine that.

Hey I'm new to this site and I wanted to share something. KK closed yesterday at 6 for "mechanical difficulties" and cleared the line, and after waiting for 3 hours outside the line they announced that it would not re-open and probably wouldn't re-open today (Thursday). The mechanics were working on the track where the cable attaches to the train, and I saw them actually lifting what seemed to be the catch car from the track.
