Kingda Ka and El Toro

I am going to Six Flags Great Adventure tomorrow. And I was just wondering if anyone knew if Kingda Ka and El Toro would be open. From what I remember Kingda Ka doesn't open in extremely cold weather. Does anybody know?

When I was there Thursday and Friday it was about 45-47 degrees. It looks like it's going to be about 50 tomorrow with 15-25 mph winds.

According to the supervisor I asked Kingda Ka doesn't open because of high winds and Toro doesn't open because of high winds AND cold.

You might get on them but I wouldn't count on it.

I was on both Toro and Ka today in the 45-50 degree weather (see my TR for more info).

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

Ka definitely runs in extremely cold weather. My first introduction to it was at Frightfest of 2006 and by the time it opened it was only around forty-degrees (if that). I don't even want to think about what the windchill was like traveling at 128mph in the front seat!
Using matt's formula, and assuming an air temp of 40* and a wind speed of 128 mph, that's a wind chill of 20* F...

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.
