Kingda Ka - Prelaunch sequence?

We all know the familiar "Keep arms down, head back, and hold on" with the engines revving on Top Thrill Dragster before it launches. Storm Runner features the "Now get ready, here we go!" before it launches. I haven't been to SFGA this year so I wouldn't know - What kind of new or interesting prelaunch spiel or sequence does Kingda Ka go through (if it does at all)?

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Kingda Ka is experiencing technical difficulties..."

HAHAHAHA...Seriously, that was funny right there.

Isn't there a siren or something that goes off throughout the whole park? I'd think that would get annoying after a while..

big ass siren goes off .. like a horn, then 5 seconds later it launches and reaches 128mph is 3 seconds - SWEET!

and before the carts advance to the launching base ..
" please keep arms down, and head back" ..

the horn is the best part! coz it gets u pumped up!

Basically the prelaunch sequence is the operator up in the booth yelling at certain people on the train to put their hands down. When all hands are down, they launch.;)

yes when all hands are down there is a loud horn.. not loud enough to be heard throughout the park but loud enough and then 3-5 secs and BAM launch

Pre-launch sequence is a loud horn (that yes you can hear through the whole park...was there this past monday)...that's it...loud horn, then launch.

Aparently there is a loud horn that goes off...

yeah it so loud it made people blind ;)
