King Kobra had trick track?

I thought Villain's trick track only went in one direction.

It does, it turns to the right, and it does nothing for me. I'd be curious to go over real trick track at a good clip. I've never been on Shivering Timbers so I haven't experienced it. As for King Cobra, I did like that section of the track, and the helix.

I sure do miss the Idora Wiildcat & Jackrabbit.

PKI's Adventure Express, HersheyPark's mine train and perhaps others have a variation of this "faux" trick-track that only goes one direction. Only on the mine trains, the track tips *even more* in the direction it's already banked for a second.

On AE, it's in a helix, I believe right before the third tunnel. At HP's I think it's at the bottom of the first drop, very close to the ground. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yes Den, suicide track. A very cool element and relegated to only Arrow Mine Trains as far as I know.

As for Timber's trick track it really doesn't do a thing for me. I woudl change two things with Timber's if it was up to me. The Double up gives no air, it just ruins the pacing in that part of the ride, turn it into a double down, and get rid of the trick track and throw in another hill.

Granted it's still one of my collective group of number ones (I don't rank) but It woudl be even better if I had my way.

Nasai, didn't Fujin Rajin II have trick track? I can't remember because the ride was so rough. The train probablyjust popped a wheelie ;)

Also, if you wan't to get picky,Crystal Beach Cyclone, Zip!, and Revere Beach Cyclone were the only three coaster to have what was called death track which was quite more intense than your normal trick track. Today, this element is only found on a few mine trains which tackle the death track at mellow and tame speeds.

I only used the term "suicide curve" to describe the turnaround under SW's lift because that's the exact spection of the ride where that guy was thrown from the ride back in 99.

He must've had a death wish in mind when he deliberately violated safety regulations & somehow managed to wiggle his way out of the restraints.

Well, Villain enters the trick track banked left, so all it does it bank to the right, then its up again. ST starts completely level, so you feel the left right motion.
