But what I like about it is that the design is totally failsafe. If all of the latches fail on that thing mid-ride (unlikely to happen since the bars use a hydraulic lock), you still won't come out of the thing.
Of course, that's what made the incident at PKD so shocking. Many of us have trouble getting out when the restraints are unlocked, let alone with the bars locked and the train moving at operating speed.....!

I also liked the Togo train design, it felt really OPEN as compared to the Beemers....

TeknoScorpion, are you thinking about Kings Island's one ride fatality, the Flight Commander incident? The incident Gator and I are talking about was on Kings Dominion's near-copy of King Cobra.

I'm kinda picky about the PKD *incident* only because I do NOT believe it was an *accident*. There MAY have been some alcohol involved, but it's my considered opinion that it was an intentional suicide...sorry if that idea offends anyone here...
