Now don't get too excited, but from what I hear they aren't actually removing it. This is simply part of the process of putting lap bars on the coaster ;). They find it easier to take the entire layout apart to remove the trains from the track, as opposed to removing the wheel assemblies or using the transfer track.

Ok, so why exactly did I post this?

The pink cage is the new sling shot ride

What's funny is that without the rest of the ride you don't really have a good perspective on how far away/how tall the lift actually is. I dunno, maybe its just me but the thing looks huge now. Meh.
