KIExtreme.com has posted an update of 22 photos of Kings Island's new ride, Firehawk. Structural assembly of the ride has been completed, and progress on the station, on-ride photo booth and painting continues.

Bonus points for whomever can tell me from what ride the photo booth was copied?

At first glance, I'd say Dragster's Photo booth

You got it. The only difference is more TV screens (6 cars / train).

So, what part of the ride is going to have the on-ride photo?

No clue. I wasn't (and won't be) involved in that decision.

Wow! Its finished now they have to test it and it will have the same problems X-Flight had because it is X-Flight!*** This post was edited by Twistercoasterman 4/23/2007 5:53:23 PM ***

Cedar Fair has made some changes to the ride's mechanics that will hopefully improve quite a few of the problems. For example, the electronic seat lowering system located on each train has been replaced by a mechanical one located solely in the station (think B&M's system, only you're lowered instead of raised). This should be much more reliable.

Although I've ridden all of the Vekoma Flying Dutchman I can only recall photos being taken on Stealth. That was done while riders were in the loop.

That would seem to be the logical place to put. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
