The operators of Bluegrass Boardwalk cleared a major hurdle Wednesday afternoon. The Kentucky Tourism Development board approved nearly $4 million in tax cuts for the group looking to replace Kentucky Kingdom.

Looking good. I think that was the biggest hurdle they had to overcome. :-)
Agreed. Now I'm more concerned about the inaugural summer under the Kochs. With the already common knowledge that an opening season in 2014 will be sans many rides and all the major coasters, the park might be lucky to see half its (previously reasonable) predicted attendance. The potential is there for fiscal disaster.

And sun tan lotion.
and how they're a true family park, with no cussin' or hootin'. ;)
I think it was for 2013 that it was mentioned there would be limited rides and no coasters. We don't know what a 2014 opening will bring. Maybe its a good thing, for us as guests, that it's taking longer than expected to clear some hurdles

Sorry to interrupt you pissing contest here, but both of you are totally awesome.
Oooh, Travis is in a passive aggressive mood!
So you're saying they're both awesome pissers?
Totally awesome, Mike. Totally. :D
But I was awesome a few minutes before Jason, right?
Premature pissilation. I think there's a pill that can help with those symptoms.
What has happened to CoasterBuzz? It just got more awesome.
Awesome is better than pissy.
Speed isn't everything Gonch. Or, that's what I keep telling myself anyway. ;-)
