Kentucky Kingdom announced plans to build Kentucky Flyer. The roller coaster is 1,280 feet long and will feature a dozen airtime elements with a speed of about 35 mph. Kentucky Flyer also will feature several banked turns and a 45-foot drop, according to the video. Kentucky Kingdom has partnered with The Gravity Group LLC on the project.

Is that a two car train I see at the end? Oh the CAPACITY!!

I hope it's at least as good a Wooden Warrior. For it's size, it's quite fun. Kids and most adults will enjoy this ride if it's comparable to WW, which it appears to be. Now if only Cedar Point would listen to me and put one of these across from Wicked Twister after they remove all of the junk and revamp Kiddy Kingdom. It would be a great replacement for CCMR.
2 cars on a Timberliner is only 4 passenger, doubt it would be that short. Also, Wooden Warrior was awesome, need more of those around.
Wooden warrior was an absolute hit with my family and I so I'd imagine this is gonna be a great fit for what they're going for. KK is already one of the best value parks to travel to imo this will just make it even better for us.
But seriously tho...pay for actual computer animation...
The best of all the jokers is clearly Mark Hamill.
They used *Planet Coaster* for their animation of this ride which is simultaneously sad and cool. You’re telling me that Gravity Group didn’t have a 3D rendering of this thing to present to them? I’m not sure who this reflects poorly upon....
In any case, it looks like a good fit for this small park, capacity problems shouldn’t be too much of an issue. I’m wondering where they’re going to put it though since the park doesn’t seemingly have this much space and I don’t think they can expand into the surrounding parking lots because they belong to the expo center.

I know you're being sarcastic, but its a valid concern. KK usually only runs one train and the coasters never get much of a line. I'd imagine that if they can maintain two train ops on this, capacity will still be fine. Maybe not walk-ons, but won't be bad. Probably the first coaster you want to go to at rope drop.
I was at KK on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. They were running Storm Chaser with 2 trains. Many of the rides I got on it MIGHT have had 6 other people on it. In many cases, due to fastening seat belts for empty seats, it would be much more efficient if they would only run 1 train. KK will do just fine with this ride, especially since they seem to get more people using the water park than riding the coasters.

Then...it's not a concern?
Well, at least this puts a stop to speculation about the possibility of Firehawk being relocated to KK.

There’s always next year.
But then again, what do I know?
