The parents of a 13-year-old Louisville girl whose feet were severed by a Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom ride sued the theme park today claiming it failed to maintain the equipment and ensure riders’ safety. Kaitlyn Lasitter, according to the lawsuit, has suffered permanent injury, severe emotional pain and her ability to earn money has been impaired. Except, without knowing why or how the wheel flew off, that would also be jumping to conclusions. It could've been a manufacturer's defect in the car for all you know.
Or if it were the wrong kind of tire. Then you'd ask if it were it the owner, tire manufacturer, or maintenance person who made the decision to use the wrong tire.

I call dibs on his car. :)

In the end I dont think the investgation is going to prove if the park or manufacterer of the ride was at fault. This was a tragic accident on a ride that has been ridden by tens of millions of people across the country.

But SF will pay out and not take it to trial, because in the end the sympathy for a girl who had two feet severed will out weigh anything else.the juror's will hear, and that will trump any experts eith side puts on the stand.
