I am not sure you are planning your trip, but beginning the week of August 30 Kennywood doesnt open till 5pm. The price for admission that week is $13.95 as GregLeg mentioned. You can have a really good time and hit a lot of rides and attractions. They also have a nice parade each evening that week. If you can fit it in then I would highly recommend you go. I will be there on Tuesday that week.
I am planning on making it out to Kennywood that week, though it will probably be Wednesday evening, not Tuesday. I am getting pretty excited about it, and just hope the park stays open late enough for me to experience everything I'd like to. The park sure does sound like it's underrated, at least in terms of exposure. Thanks again for the help! :)
l. If I were going to live near one park, it would be Kennywood.
2. If I were to buy a season ticket to one park, it would be KW (if they sold them).
3. If I were to work at a park, it would be KW.
4. If I were to own stock in a park, it would be KW.
5. If I were going to spend a whole week at one park, it would be KW.
The rest are merely great amusement parks. Kennywood is a state of mind.

Is that also for the Labor Day weekend as well? I'm thinking about driving out there from Cedar Point during that weekend. Also, does anyone know when the park usually closes? It says on the website that they close whenever they feel the park starts emptying out. So if there are still a ton of people there at midnight, will they keep the park open?
Certain victory.
