Kennywood Thunderbolt opens following Phantom's Revenge construction

The Thunderbolt at Kennywood Park finally opened at about 1:22 p.m., June 23, 2001. Only one train is currently operating.

Ahh, but there's something to be said for the hoochies in Pittsburgh ... or any hard-workin' blue-collar town, for my money (Detroit, Cleveland, Chi-town, etc.). Can't say that to the wife, though, as she's one of them southern belles ...
