Kennywood single-ride lines?

I had very little troulbe last summer waiting for someone to partner up with. The only problem was that it was always impossible to get a front or back seat. In fact you can often skip ahead in the que when they are looking for one.

One time - they were holding the train in order to wait for a single rider - in this case me. I'm a pretty big guy, but the dude they matched me up with, made me look like a tic tac. It was a very tight fit - almost as if there was a deployed air-bag under our lap bar.

After the ride we shook hands, said thanks and went our seperate ways. One day, perhaps we'll meet again. Only this time, I want the right side!

Here's To Shorter Lines & Longer Trip Reports!

Look at it this way, you're helping out someone else who otherwise would not be able to ride.

Most other good deeds require you to give up something. This one requires you to ride a great coaster. Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

Totally unrelated, but I noticed that LdScotsman is post #666 on the Cedar Point Blog thread... runaway! runaway! :) *** Edited 4/13/2006 3:09:47 AM UTC by RatherGoodBear***

If they can't find a single rider for you in a couple of cycles, an employee will ride with you so you don't have to wait a long time.

The only exception would be if they are short staffed.

And that's the sort of thing that shows a park wanting to give its guests the best experience possible. It has nothing to do with what you pay and everything to do with how you're treated.

All the 'free' drinks and parking in the world doesn't touch that sort of effort.

"Look we know it sucks to stand here and wait around like a tool for some other lone rider and we understand you want to move along to other thing. Somebody ride with this guy!"

Fan-freakin-tabulous! :)
