Kennywood Question

I am going to Kennywood on 6/26 and I had a few questions...

1.) Is Exterminator up and running?
2.) How crowded is the park on Saturdays?
3.) How long is the wait usually for PR?
4.) With there be any school events or anything going on that day?

Im sort of half agreeing with kpjb......exterminator is up, its pretty crowded on saturdays, but you cant go to any park with no crowds on a saturday.....wait can be short or long for the phantom, depending on anything really....and if there is a school event or something going on, it might be better because other people see this and may not go because of it, so less crowds. But who am I to say, im not an expert on it.....good luck, great park.

Most people that go to Kennywood aren't anal enough to look up if there's a school picnic or not that day. It doesn't have any bearing on the weekend crowds (other than driving them up until 8pm when all the kiddies have to go home)

In any case, unless your homepark is Holiday World or Lake Compounce or something else tiny, a "crowded" day at Kennywood probably will seem like wide open spaces to you.

Also, most people that go to Kennywood know that there's a school picnic every day except Sundays until July.

..and once the school picnics end, the ethnic days begin. Ah, the glory of Italian Day ;)

Kennywood also has community days where the local towns are invited to attend the parks as a community and they do not announce that on the site. Alot of the local communities will bus people threw the day to kennywood just about hourly. I think this may start in the month of july from what I remember but I could be wrong. Those das could get pretty crowded as well.
