kennywood keeps us coming back.

They don't spend millions on new rides every year like Sixflags and Cedarpoint. But for some reason we all go back there every year.I will tell you why,It's because that little park has class!!Not to many other parks have it.So that's why we keep going back there. And that's the bottom line cause Coaster-fan said so!
You hit it right on the head, coaster-fan! Now if only your post looked a little neater. I get really picky on non-neat looking posts. No offense, though, you made a good point!

I agree also that Kennywood has class. It is well kept. I love the gardens along the paths. The employees are nice. Good food. And of course besides the coasters they have those nearly extinct rides that you can't ride anywhere else.
They're in a class by themself.
i never been to kennywood but i know a park that is the same way. knotts berry farm in southern california has some greatly themed dark ride, a heavily themed ghost town, and friendly employees who act as if they love their job. knotts is a place where you can go on some great rides for a while(short lines) and then just hang around for a while. that is why so many people have passes out here.
I will agree with you that Kennywood has class, although I've never been there myself, I have never heard anything bad said about it. Despite the fact that Cedar Point does spend millions of dollars on huge new rides, they too, do have class. They showed that this winter by lighting up the park for that chairty fly over. Must be a Cedar Fair thing :).

Go there and you will fall in love with the park just like I did.

Long live the Phantom!
For my trip this year, I have chosen Kennywood. I am really excited to go, as it is my first trip. Only 5 coasters, but something is just drawing me over there. I know even if I don't ride 15 coasters, I will still have an amazing time over there. I am especially hyped for the Exterminator.

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
Kennywood reminded me of Crystal Beach.

2001 "wish to visit" list...
Great Escape, SFNE, Lake Compounce,
Jazzland, Visionland(open?), SFOG
Kennywood just has tons of class, and it has some realy fun rides. Extermintator is just way fun, Thunderbolt is my favorite woodie, and who knows how PR will be.

It took just ONE trip in July to make us come back for Labor Day Weekend...and I'll make another trip this season. The pride that P-Burg takes in "little" Kennywood is impecable. I wanted to go since I was 15, now I've been there twice in a year...this place is top notch. Don't hesitate to make a trip. It's well worth the money.

There's nothing like a woodie...
Well I wish I could go there. But I can't drive yet. And I don't have a job. So I'm broke and have no transportation. This is the only thing I hate about being a coasterfanatiac right now. I Can't drive! Its so unfair.

If you go to Kennywood You should cruise down the road to Sandcastle it's a pretty cool waterpark.
I made my first trip to Kennywood this year, and experienced the Steel Phantom just eight days before it closed forever. Kennywood defines the traditional amusement park, and it has some of the best rides anywhere. It was a perfect full day's entertainment. I hated having to leave. I hope to get back out there this year to ride Phantom's Revenge.
