Honeymoon stop #2 for us. I was very excited about taking my hubby to Kennywood since he had never been there before. I had told him how scenic the park is and how it definitely has the down to earth, hometown amusement park feel. We were not disappointed! :)

High points: The weather was stunning, warm and sunny but not too warm. Phantom’s Revenge was it’s usual awesome self, Eric REALLY liked this ride. Thunderbolt took out my left rib cage, Jack Rabbit was hoppin, The Racer was really moving. We also took advantage of many of the flat rides. Despite the gazillion school kids at gate when park 1st opened, crowds weren’t bad all day. Longest waits all day was PR and Exterminator. The landscaping was breathtaking. The fries from the Patch were too good!! And the prices on everything was it’s usual low. We bought Dippin Dots only because the same size that cost us $5.00 at another unnamed park (*cough* CP *cough*) cost us a meer $3.45.

Low points: Not having the time to get another order of fries due to the long lines :( Having to leave before park closed due to having to head to Dorney for CoasterMadness.

All in all another GREAT Kennywood visit for me and my hubby really liked it as well. We may have to head back there again this season!!!
