Kennywood Help - CoasterBuzz

My family and I are going to Kennywood next Friday. Are there currently any specials or coupons for discounted admission into the park that I should be looking for when we arrive in West Mifflin? For example, do any of the local stores have discount coupons?

Get them before you get here on that site as Jeff Young said, I have not seen any discounts or heard any advertisements around town.

Are KW tickets no longer available thru the Giant Eagle directly above the top parking lot?

(Maybe the new owners recognized that having discounted tickets available less than a quarter-mile from their lot hurt their average gate admission?)

Pepsi cans in the erie market have 4 for the price of 3. Still better off with the website offer though.

Just picked up tickets at AAA for $20.00 each. Also got 2 FREE Sandcastle tickets with it.

Our thanks go out to Jeff Young and all the others who responded. The prices on visitkennywood.com are great, and we can purchase the tickets before we leave.

Mr. Ninja, our AAA (in NJ) doesn't sell Kennywood tickets, or else that would have been the best deal. And we didn't want to spend the time looking for a AAA near Pittsburgh.

The Giant Eagle offers for 'school picnic' tickets always end on June 15. (This has nothing to do with the new owners.) Those tickets were only good daily through the end of June, then only good on weekdays in July and August and the last 3 operating weekends from late August until mid Sept.

However, Giant Eagle is offering $10.00 off coupons currently for June 30-July 4 if anyone is planning a visit then. Starting in Sept, GE will be selling discounted Phantom Fright Night tickets.
