Kennywood 5/25/02 - Photo Trip Only

Associated parks:
None

Took a trip to Kennywood on Saturday. Decided to go just to take some photos and have some of those great fries. I didnt ride a thing. It was a beautiful day, the park was moderately crowded. Most of the rides had relatively short lines except for Phantoms Revenge which seemed most affected by the one train operation. I did see some mechanics working/inspecting the second train. Hopefully 2 train operation will become a consistent thing soon. The new Pirate ship looks fantastic. It is very photogenic. And the accompanying Fish n Chips food stand looks great too.

Anyway, I took lots of great photos that I thought you might like to see...

:)KENNYWOOD:)

The flying carpet was open, but I never caught it in action for a photo.

I thought it was called Wave Swinger too. I couldnt remember and I looked on their site and they call it Swing Around there. Imagine that? a mistake on the internet.

Swing Around is the ride on top of the stage, and it's correctly labelled as such on Kennywood's site. If you look farther down on their flatrides page, Wave Swinger is also listed.
