Kennywood 2002?

Are they planning anything for next year?It would be hard to top P.R.,but they could use the landscape and build an inverted coaster something like Nemesis. That would rule!
I think that they will add a flat ride, because they got Exterimentor in '99 and PR last year. I think that you should not expect a coaster for a few years, but I can see them getting some type of flat ride.
Another coaster won't be for a few more years down the road.

They might possibly get a flat ride for next year, and I have heard rumors about some kind of Chinese food stand. Not too sure about the latter.

But it has been confirmed that we can all look forward to some improvements to Phantom's Revenge like station enhancement, queue improvements, and of course the long-awaited two-train operation.

There is only one train operation because it is not safe for two trains. The train flys into the station at very high speeds and the brakes are not strong enough to stop the train. It has been decided to add a trim brake before the brakes into the station so the trims can slow the train down enough for the brakes before the station to actually stop the train. When the trims are installed the train will no longer fly halfway through the station to stop, it will stop entirely before it enters the station... and that is when two trains will be added.

It's not too complicated...... but I just can't seem to type logically today.... sorry. It's got to be that it's a weekend instead of a weekday.... hopefully you understand..... or Lynch or Cernelli will probably explain it better.

You explained it pretty good, and I think it's been discussed enough by this point that most people either know the answer or can use that handy search tool.

The problematic Flying Carpet will be the recipient of a whole new computer control system for 2002, eliminating the frequent breakdowns and allowing it to run at full capacity.

As for a new ride, I've heard rumors of another flat ride, but we'll have to wait and see.

I thnk Kennywood needs more variety of coasters. 3 woodies and a hyper steelie. Kennywood needs some inversions. A B&M Floorless, Inverted, Standup, or Sitdown would make it even better!

Season: 8 Trips to SFWoA, 8 X-Flight, 12 Superman, 8 Batman, 2 Serial Thriller, 21 Villain, 2 Mr. Hydes, 2 Shipwreck Falls, 4 Grizzley Run, 4 Mind Eraser, 3 Double Loop, 3 Big Dipper, 2 Raging Wolf Bobs, and 1 Dodgems!
These things have to come over time. Kennywood doesn't have the wallet Six Flags does.

Still, I think by 2005 we'll see a new headliner coaster, and in my opinion, it'll have loops.
