Kenny Kon Meeting time and Place for Buzzers.
Since a few of us are going to Kennywood this Sunday for the ACE convention lets meet some where after the ERT. So far I've been to Kennywood twice so maybe someone from the Pittsburg area could figure out a good spot to meet.

ARRGH! I'd like to meet with you, but I'm flying out tonight at 7:30 (PST)! If it's not on buzz by then, I won't see it (no laptop). Please try to post the meeting time before that OR prominently at hotel or Park check-in! As for meeting place, are you talking during Kon at park or otherwise? If otherwise, hotel (Holiday Inn Parkway East) is good. If at Park, maybe a table at the main (only) restaurant?
Ok how about after the ERT on Tbolt and Phantom. I guess a good spot would be near the enterance to the Phantom. I forget what time the ERT is over. I think it's over at 11. Then we could plan on rides and food. We'll be easy to spot. Just check out our pic in the info next to my name.

Actually, that's relative -- I'm short, so I'm easy to miss in a crowd ;)
I'll be wearing my old white rec.roller-coaster shirt (it says "coasting through cyberspace" on the back) and cargo shorts. POSSIBLY my rrc button too, but that's overkill. ;)

Ok, well, change of plans -- due to weather I ended up wearing a black poncho most of the day, so my RRC shirt was kinda hard to spot ;)

I was there but didn't see anyone at the Phantom entrance. I was wearing the green Boulder Dash shirt and Legend hat. the early closing sucked :(

I saw someone wearing a rec.rollercoaster shirt under the pavillion, I'm guessing it's you.
Even though the park closed early I got my best ride ever on the Thunderbolt.

I didn't see any other RRC shirts, so that probably was me. By that time I'd ditched the poncho (folded it back up and put it in its oversized belt pouch -- $7 at Target, but much more durable than the flimsy jobs sold at parks, and easy to store and carry).
I saw a few other known RRC'ers, but they didn't have the proper attire on. Dorks ;)
In spite of the early closing, I got a decent number of rides on. And as a local, the free Ride All Day pass they were handing out will come in handy ;)
Which reminds me -- anyone from out of town who still has the pass, but won't be using it, let me know, I may be trying to buy some of them for friends.
