KBF and DCA

First, how far apart are they?  Can they both be done it one day if I only want to go on like the five best rides at DCA?  What are the five best rides?  What is up with those sneeze gaurd things on Maliboomer?  What do they do?
-----------------
They aren't Sneeze Guards...they're Scream Guards.  They also have Scream Gurads on California Screamin and GhostRider...on CA Screamin and GhostRider, they look like half tunnels around certain areas of the ride....something stupid about how the GP who live around there don't wanna hear the people all day and night.

If you see me running, try and keep up!

Geez they aren't that far apart. About 15 min in the carpool lane. You could defiantly hit DCA and KBF both in one day. I hit all the rides at KBF by noon when I went.

No, it's more like 10 minutes without the carpool lane. This is from lots of back-and-forthing I've done between both parks. It's closer than you think. You can see Disneyland's Matterhorn Mountain from the top of Knott's Supreme Scream on a clear sunny day.
What are the best days to go to DCA KBF and SFMM?  Should I go to Disneyland or DCA?  What are the five best rides at DL and DCA?
-----------------
They are about 7 miles apart.
-----------------
5 Best Rides At Disneyland:

Matterhorn, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Indiana Jones (no set order here)

5 Best Rides At DCA (This Is Tough):

California Screamin', Soarin' Over California (Don't Miss This One!), Grizzly River Rapids, and The Maliboomer.

It seems that there are just as many shows as rides at DCA.  Muppetvision, It's Tough To Be A Bug, and Who Want's To Be A Millionaire are all very entertaining.

Leaving Knott's you're in for a treat... Take Beach Blvd. and make a left on Ball Rd. Ball Rd. will take you through the great city of Anaheim, were you will see apartment complexes, and just a beautiful city.. that at one point was looked at as a Cesspool, now if that area is still a cesspool, lemme know... then you'll hit the Disneyland resort... then well, you're there... forget the 5 Freeway, take Ball Rd.

I may have the inside info... but why be known to everyone.. Downplay it and call me, "The Outsider!" ;)
Doesn't Knott's have 3 turbo drops and DCA have 3 space shots?

-------------
I know so much about roller coasters. Have any qustions just E-Mail me at agomez@afes.com

Yes that is correct.  The reason why KBF has only turbo drops is because Disney bought the rights to the space shots for the area before KBF bought their towers...otherwise KBF would have had both.

SS is still the tallest S&S towers though :)

GO HUSKERS!

Supreme Screame doesn't launch up????  What, I really wanted to launch up!!!!!!!  Now I really want to go to DCA.  That is stupid that it doesn,t launch up!!!!!!!
-----------------
Yes but it launches down. Disney's is smaller than KBF's by a big difference. I personally think Turbo Drops are the scariest...I had tighty-brownies when I stepped off SS;)

So it only launches down??? Why??? That is stupid!!!  On the website it says thrusts straight up.
-----------------
"Get off of my moor you michtevous weeins." We prefer to stay" (eyes begin glowing) "Your thinking of hurting us." "Now your thinking, how did they know what I was thinking?" " But now your thinking, I hope that's Shepards Pie in my knickers"
Supreme Scream Travels to the top slowly and then launches you down, but after that, it launches you back up about halfway, which to my knowledge is just as tall as the one at DCA (halfway on SS and the top of the Space Shot are same is what I mean.) So therefore on SS you get a thrust down and a thrust up (I would like to touch upon that a thrust down is way more scary, I was scared witless.
Supreme Scream is much beter than Maliboomer 'nuff said.
if you go to DL your NOT going to do the five best rides and leave! Peole spend 3 days straight at DL and still don't want to leave! DCA you could do by 2 if you start at opening use single rider and fastpass, get the Mullholland Maddness ( Mack Mouse) done early waits are LOOONG. Defently don't miss the Sun Weel in addition to the other rides previously posted, ride in a purple car in the Sun Weel and you'll have your life changed FOREVER!

P.S. ALWAYS ask the host at a rides entrance if their is a sngle rider line, ALWAYS!!! and use Fastpass wisely, its self explainitory and thw CM's will fill you in if you have any questions.

Not MLK's words but mine..I have a Dream! I have a DREAM! I HAVE A DREAM!
I have a dream! That SFMM fans will be able to walk hand in hand with CP's!
AND no ONE cares what a coaster is and what a coaster isn't!

The Sun Wheel is incredible. I love it! Next to "It's Tough to be a Bug", my favorite attraction at DCA.

Have you ever considered that it may not be the park that's the problem, but YOU???
