Just Me? Or, Do Waterslides Really Hurt?

For a smooth, non painful ride, try Slush Gusher at Blizzard Beach

Ack, out of any slide I've ridden, Slush Gusher was the most painful. The grooves in it took chunks out of my back (it felt like it at least). Summit Plummit on the other hand was just plain fun (Beware of the biggest wedgie you'll ever get though)

My favorite slides are the bodyflumes at Whitewater in Atlanta , and the mat slides at Wet'n Wild in Orlando. On the flumes , if you sit up, you fell like you are riding on nothing at all except for this nice stream of water keeping you cool. On the mat slides at Wet 'n Wild , I probably went down them 20 times each racing my friends, and every race was close. Honerable mentions go to : Raging River and Dragon's Tail(the airtime was actually kind of fun on Dragon's tail) at Whitewater and Der stuka at Wet 'n Wild(almost too much walking to get to the top, blasted spiral ramp). And on Der Stuka (70 foot speed drop), my friend didn't cross his legs, and the whole way down his left leg was hanging off the side. He didn't hurt himself though. :-)
Slush Gusher is the BEST!

I don't know what you're thinking.

I love waterslides, but sometimes they can be painful. Yesterday, I got an area of skin ripped off by an eclosed speed slide at SFEG. That was really the first time I have ever been hurt by a waterslide and it was pretty bad, too.
