Just decided: RRC is full of fools

Where can you find the greatest number of elitist rollercoaster 'enthusiasts' in the world? RRC.

Welcome to the wonderful world of non-stop KK bashing. Intamin bashing. And, in short, anything that the public likes, bashing.

If it's not an obscure woodie in 'the Dells' then these people do not approve.

When will they realise that the public love rockets? That the public need rockets? And that Intamin is the only company with the balls to give us record breaking rockets?

Damn RRC and their short-sighted, elitist viewpoint. *** Edited 6/15/2005 8:51:27 PM UTC by Scooby***

In before close.

My blog You said, "I'm gonna run you down." I heard, "I'm an orangutan."
Isn't posting worthless things like "in before close" in response to ridiculous posts against the TOS? And if it isn't, it should be!

'Mamoosh', I remember you from the old RRC days. No surprise you left that pit of hell.
I don't see what the problem is. KK seems to be bashing itself so why not join in on the fun?
They despised KK well before it broke down; they despised it when the plans were announced.

What they don't get is simple: the general public as a collective have fallen in love with the rocket. The bigger the better. The Dells and the rest, well, it just doesn't factor in any more and that drives them crazy.

Our KK threads are thick with morons. I think you'll like 'em better...

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

Well, as you can see from my username, I like both small woodies and large rockets.

RavenTTD: most well rounded coaster enthusiast ON THE PLANET!

And I love the Dells coasters too. Avalanche rocks my face off.

I thought you wanted hydraulics put on the Raven.

But I do want hyrdaulics put on Raven. What's wrong with that?
Gawd, last year it was cicadas, this year it's trolls *yawns*

I didn't leave RRC. I still post there often. In fact I responded to you in Jimvid's KK thread that Ghostrider is consistently more popular that Xcelerator.

You're antics are not taken seriously on RRC and you'll find the same reception here.

Oh yes -- that was you.

It is generally understood that Xcelerator has 2.4 times the lines that Ghostrider has (on a regular day, not when the park is not stuffed with ACE hell-boys). *** Edited 6/15/2005 10:06:37 PM UTC by Scooby***

Actually, the last 2 times I've been to Knott's, Ghostrider has had a longer line. And it was a pretty normal day as far as I could tell..

We walked onto Xcelerator numerous times and had about a 10-15 minute wait for Ghostrider.

You're wrong, Scooby. I live in So Cal and go to Knotts at least once a month. Between Xcelerator and Ghostrider the woodie is by far the most popular, although Silver Bullet outranks both. Monte comes in fourth and Boomerang is the least popular adult coaster in the park.

If you include non-coaster rides both the log flume and Supreme Scream are vastly more popular than Xcelerator.

That's funny. At Cedar Point, TTD gets outdrawn by an Arrow corkscrew, a tired old suspended coaster and a one that--as far as the unwashed masses are concerned--is a 26 year-old woodie. Click on 'Rides and Ride Policies,' read and weep.

How'd that happen?

Idiotic reasoning. The rocket at CP (TTD) was down for a significant portion of 2004 and has less throughput.

The public have fallen in love with the rocket.
