Rumoring to be getting a “Spider-Man” renovation (new animatronics, paint, plussing this thing to the point where it’s better then it ever has been but still essentially the same ride.). USJ got that treatment recently, very happy to hear that it’s happening in Orlando too. Jurassic World at USH I didn’t think was much of an upgrade.

I was referring to the amazing refurb that the Spider-man got a few years ago.

Twenty-five years ago, I worked on Jurassic Park River Adventure. It was a lot of fun. My favorite position was working upstairs in the area where T-Rex snaps at the boat. When a boat went by that had no passengers, I got to watch the show she put on. She is an impressive animatronic.

My favorite memory of River Adventure was in the pre-Potter days when the Universal parks weren't at the level of quality they have gotten to in the last 10-15 years. The sounds for the final T-Rex weren't functional so every time a boat got under the T-Rex to prepare for the final drop, a team member would get on the microphone and make the most ridiculous and silly growling noise.
