Jungle Habitat/ GAdv Safari

One of my friends told me about this old park in North Jersey. It was run by Warner Brothers. I was just wondering if anyone knew if this park had any connection with GAdv's Safari or anything else about the park in general. Anyone ever visit the safari type park? This site has some strange stories about it:

Jungle Habitat is (was) located in West Milford, New Jersey at the very end of Airport Road (next to the airport). The park lasted until the early 70's. The Jungle Habitat sign was still in existence a few years ago but I believe it is gone now. Some of the entrance gates may still be there. The land is now the property of the State and is part of Norvin Green State Forest.

There is a current controversial proposal to lease the land for the building of "Xtreme Habitat," an off-road vehicle park. More information about that can be found here.

I may have visited Jungle Habitat when I was very young but I certainly don't remember it. My mother told me a story about a monkey ripping the vinyl roof on my uncle's car. I have heard from several sources that Great Adventure's Safari was essentially a rebuild of Jungle Habitat and a lot of animals moved there. A lot of urban legends float around about the old Jungle Habitat site, things like abandoned animals still roaming the woods.
