When is CP the least busy? June, July, or August? And when in those months? Also, if it IS June, what's the second busiest time? I don't want to go when it's super-mega busy...
You definitely will not want to go between July 4th and the end of August.
The best times to go is anytime in may and early june and late september to anytime in october. The lines are extremely short and you can really enjoy the whole CP experience. Anywhere in between, you are asking for crowds.

I just went to cp last weekend 5/12 and i waited longer for my season pass then any ride. I waited 10 min. for Power Tower and 15 min for Magnum
Also, don't forget the LAST week in August. Check the 2001 operating schedule for the exact dates but CP closes at 8p.m. during the last week of August because crowd level is LOW. We will be there at least one of those days for serious caostering riding.
August is the most busy. I went last year on a Tuesday and the place was packed. Then I get home and see that the crowds we're less in the last week of August, made me jealous. Then they rubbed it in even more with MM (Millennium Mania).
June is definately the better time to go, but if you have to go during July or August just make sure you plan for mid-week -- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Avoid weekends, they're the worst!
It sounds like you are locked in to going in either June, July, or August. I would strongy suggest skipping all of those months....However, if you do have to go, go early as possible in June and forget about July or August in thier entirety.
I'm going over mememrial day weekend does anyone know if that is an exception? meaning will it be busier then? I heard that it is pretty slow then even though its the holiday.
Memorial Day weekend isn't too bad -- still May. Sunday and Monday are really the better days then, Monday especially, if you have the choice.
thanks i go every year but we never go this early (we are only a couple of hours away so I do have the choice. I was considering going on that Friday. I was thinking that since kids are still in school maybe it won't be busy. Is that logical? :)
Could be, but a lot of people who get Monday off will also take Friday off to make it a 4-day weekend, so there's no telling for sure!
Well, I am definetely going on Wednesday August 8th and Thursday August 9th. There is no changing dates for me. How crowded do you think it will be then?
