This was my first trip to the point for the 2000 season and it was GREAT! We (my dad came with me) left at about 7 in the morning and got to the park around 8. We went to the group sales booth, got our tickets, free lunch tickets, and our CoasterMania ERT buttons. They ran out of the CoasterMania 2000 buttons so we got Millennium Force buttons. Are these pretty rare or something? Because about 10 people asked me to trade my MF button for there CoasterMania button. Anyway, on to the rides...
Raptor:
Got two rides in for ERT and was as good as i remeber it. We waited about 10 min the first time on, second time was about 20 min. Front row both times. Still a GREAT ride! On to Mantis we went.
Mantis:
Front row right, awsome ride! We waited about 10-15 minutes. It was not to crowded at all, we got on all the rides we wanted to a few times.
Mean Streak:
About a 10 min wait. It seemed faster then last year but not any smoother. An ok ride, we did not ride it again though.
Gemini:
One of my favorite ride in the park. The blue train was stuck on the lift hill halfway up, so only the red trains were running. We waited about 10 min and took the back row. Lots of air time, a great ride as usual.
Magnum:
The wait was about 30 min, not bad at all! We got the 4th car back row. An awsome ride but it seemed a little bit rougher then last year. After Magnum, we went and got some pretzels and some drinks for the huge Millennium Force line!
Millennium Force:
We waited 2 1/2 hours and it was worth it!!! MF is now my #1 coaster!! AWSOME, that is all i can say, i can not even explain it, you just have to go on it if you didn't yet. We got fith car back row in the yellow train. The stations are awsome too! The loading station was the coolest looking station i have ever seen. With the MF logo flying around the whole station, and those bright red lights above the train. Just awsome!
