A federal judge Thursday refused to lift the no-fly zone over Walt Disney World so that an anti-homosexuality group could fly banners over the amusement park during the annual Gay Days celebration. U.S. District Judge Anne Conway said that she did not believe she had jurisdiction over FAA policies, and that the group wanting to fly the banners did not meet the burden of proof.

"Is Sexual Orientation a Choice?
No, human beings can not choose to be either gay or straight. Sexual orientation emerges for most people in early adolescence without any prior sexual experience. Although we can choose whether to act on our feelings, psychologists do not consider sexual orientation to be a conscious choice that can be voluntarily changed."

1) Disney World is right to enact and defend it's "no fly zone" for it's own security. It is a major tourist attraction and could be a potential target for terrorists.
2) I must clarify the Bible's stance on homosexuality as well as sin in general. The Bible states that the only appropriate sexual relationship is within the bond of marraige. The example for a holy marriage is set in Genesis 2:24 and involves only one man and only one woman. Therefore, any sexual relationship that occurs outside of this filter is sin. It is, however, the main theme of the bible that all people sin and fall short of the glory of God thus removing the justification for one man to judge another based on his behavior. This does not mean that we cannot object to sinful behaviors, however we must do so with complete love for the individual as Christ loves us despite our shortcomings. (Luke 6:37)
3) Genetic predisposition is not an excuse for sin. I am built with a very strong sexual desire, and I cannot wait until I can go to bed with my girlfriend. However, I still have the ability to say "no" until our wedding night. (Romans 6:6)
4) The Christians in this case are wrong in their attitudes. They engage in their actions with a hostile, confrontational attitude which is not Christ-like. They have an "Us vs. Them" mentality which is no way to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Jesus did not come to condemn the world but to save it. (John 3:17).
