Joyland owners selling some rides, doubt park will ever reopen

The owners of Joyland Park are selling some of the rides and say more vandalism at the park this weekend, coupled with a soft real estate market, makes it unlikely that the park will ever reopen.

What a shame...Joyland was a wonderful little park and their Schmeck out-and-back was one of my favorites (and one I still rank highly on my ballot for Mitch's poll). I'm glad I got to visit the park once before it closed as I'm certain the park and the coaster are forever silenced.
