Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Sunday Times journalist Vincent Crump is sent to ride the Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park in the UK. The new compact B&M inverter is themed to a volcano. The author visits several other parks as well, reviewing their top rides. With each ride, he reveals his heart rate compliments of a heart rate monitor.

strange reading the verdict, also, oblivion not air was used?!?! I do agree on alot, AT is still above the rest, but nemesis inferno, damn that ride is not far behind the original!

It was ok article, but come on. I agree with the guy above me. Whoever wrote the article (to lazy to link to it again) should have done some research on coasters before writing the article. Come on, "Chair-life style"?

Once again you guys fail to realize that it was written by a member of the "general public" for the "general public." John Q. Parkguest could care less what the technical terms for rides are, or what's better for whatever reason. All they care about is whether or not it's fun.

You do remember fun, don't you?

Ha ha ha ha, I think I remember fun... Yeah! Like riding Screechin Eagle for the first time. I agree with your point, but it just got somewhat annoying after four or five reviews. Just something that bugged me. Also, I thought the Heart Rate rating system was strange. You could only relate to how it rated against Nemesis Inferno, and nothing else. Still a "fun" read nonetheless.

If you’ve ever wondered how it feels to live like a steeplejack — and then die like one — here is your chance to find out.

Great article...fun to read, yet correct ! Something that's rare nowadays.
Great article-humorous, well-written, and descriptive. We need more positive articles like this one.
