Has anybody read Thrillride lately. They didn't say much about SFA, but they did say that the Flying Dutchman was confirmed and also, a little bit more interesting. The Joker's Jinx is going to be changed a little bit, so that it is less rough. I guess that it is going to bank a little easier. I wonder how they are going to get in there with the maze of supports. :)

I think they may re-design the harness
I hope it is better than Stealth

Number 1 And Only Cedar Point
Yeah, Premier will be re-designing the OTSRs for all their 'spaghetti bowl' coasters i.e. JJ and the two Flights of Fear. Not sure about Poltergeist or their other LIM coasters.

So does anyone know what they put in the new ride at Six Flags Holland this year?

Well, this doesn't help, but they have a Vekoma LSM spaghetti bowl. It is nothing like Premier's rides. It has a "sea serpent" element too! Very interesting. I have a exterior video of it if anybody wants it give me a e mail.

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
Poltergeist is a spaghetti bowl coaster. I would assume that it will receive the same modifications. Also, I thought that re-evaluation of the trains/restraints was sparked by a problem with one of the "Mr. Freeze" coasters. Any one with further insight into that aspect?
I'm pretty sure that's a Premier ride over there... that's what we've got in the database, and it was originally entered by the guy who runs that unofficial SFH site. I also seem to recall seeing that it was a Premier ride in First Drop. I could be wrong, but that's a lot of mistakes.

Nope Jeff, Superman The Ride at SFH is a clone of Disney's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at MGM Studios. It is manufactured by Vekoma of the Netherlands. You can tell by the trains that it's not Premier...they're basically the same trains as the new Vekoma Boomerang trains.

I guess someone needs to fix that, then!
Had me fooled... the layout in Holland looks a lot like it was borrowed from Jinx.

Jeff, if you're talking about the picture on the website, you cant really go by that. If you click on the 'Robin Hood' link and look closely, you can see on the front of the PTC trains, it has the logo for "Roar". That's a pic of SFA's Roar!
No, I was looking at the photos on an unofficial site from their media day.

Yeah, Supes The Ride does look a lot like Jinx. It starts with a sidewinder (instead of cobra roll) and goes into a mass of twists and turns before a single corkscrew. A lot of people really love it at MGM, but I thought it was just okay. Without the amazing Disney themeing I think it would be a dud, honestly.
By the way, you can read all about it in First Drop Issue #50, p21.

There you have it... it was the Corkscrew that threw me off.

The Superman at SF Holland has nearly the exact same layout as Rock n Roller coaster
john peck, they are actually going to change the track, like take out some of the cures and bank easier.
