When I first heard this my reaction was "doesn't she have enough money?"

Actually, J.K. Rowling has given SO much money to charity that she no longer qualified as a billionaire...imagine trying to accomplish that while money is pouring in from every corner of the globe!

Usually this kind of news would make me cringe. For example, while I enjoyed The Hobbit, it was padded out. They made a valiant effort, but they're stretching a short, perfect story out to fill all those minutes.

If anyone can pull this off, it's Ms Rowling. Harry Potter at Uni Orlando is amazing; she seems to be someone who brings both business acumen and deep respect for the material together successfully.

Well, you see, if you put it that way, you make me feel bad. I hope you feel good about yourself....

I really liked the Harry Potter series. Eventually, and not anytime soon, it's going to feel dated and out of the spotlight, so this is a great way to keep it relevant for years to come.

Transformers, for example, are 30 years old now, and that was done by new stories, cartoons, figures and movies. Always staying fresh, always a new adventure.
