i know this thread has come up time and time again about this lasckluster giant woodie(along w its brother mean squeak).  i just wanna know if anyone knows for sure what dorney is gonna do with this coaster. has anyone heard any bit of info on it. after running 6 years now in its present pitiful, over-trimmed state, i would have thought that dorney would have done something with it by now for sure. i dont understand how a park(especially one that knows they have a lemon of a coaster) can just let a coaster sit and sit and age and age and watch it just keep getting worse year after year. I just wish they would do something w it, anything! anyone have any info on it?

The only thing Dorney is going to do with this coaster is continue to operate it.  They haven't done anything in the past few years to improve the quality of the ride, and as long as some people still ride the thing, they probably won't do anything to fix it.  I'm sure that any coaster money that is spent durig the next few years will go towards another new coaster, not the necessary modifications of an existing coaster that still entertains some people.

BTW, I have never heard Jerkules before... I always thought it was Hurtcules!

haha,,,,,people have many names for it. we refer to it here in allentown as jerkules. hes such a jerk! and boy does he jerk you around! but seriously, i agree that dorney will spend their money on getting a new coaster than fix herc(please say standup or a floorless!) hopefully though something will happen to this hunk of wood,,,,,im looking at intamin but maybe im just a dreamer. why o why does hercules still have the longest waiting line in the park?? sooo bizarre!
