Brunswick is considered a secondary snow belt, but in order for us to really get it heavily the wind has to come right out of the north to take advantage of lake effect.
The east side areas are the primary belt because a wind coming more out of the west gets those areas by blowing off the water and across those burbs, where the lake shore takes more of a northeast line.
