Jazzland's New Coaster-Any Progress?

I know it has only been a little over a week, but the news item said the B&M batman clone was already arriving then. Has anybody seen any track pieces yet?

I've seen some pics that show some track.

That is fast...wow! Gotaa wonder though, whether SF will see fit to change the name.....personally, I think the name it had would fit in perfectly...;)
Where are these pics?

If there are already pics on the net of the track, they have probably started or finished up with the footers. This is going fast.

Thanks for the link. Does anybody know what the middle and last pic are of?
If you didn't know, this is "Thrill Valley"'s Gambit. Hey! This is the first ever relocated B&M!

-----------------
Have you ever seen the Demon?
Have you ever heard him scream.............

What's a Gambit?

-----------------
Arrow Engineer: "Well, we just tested the prototype Suspended with an inversion and the car broke off the stick thing. We plan to reuse the stick things on a future prototype called a 4th dimension."

Gambit was the name of the coaster when it was operationg at Thrill Vallery.

The Other Siebert

Anything new to report on this? Anybody from down that way?

Getting a B&M will always beat out having to take a BM.

He was asking how they got the name, not how it fits into this coaster.

Your ad here.

A gambit is techinically, a strategem , typically used in the terms of a chess game. Name doesn't really fit...

No Limits is every enthusiasts best friend! :)

Yeah, but its still a cool name none the less. Probably because its ... "different".

-----------------
2 superheroes in Gurnee next season? Oh the humanity. :)

Actually, it *kinda* does fit. There was (is) an X-Men character named "Gambit" who, coinicidentally, was (is) from "Cajun Country" aka Louisiana.

Of course Gambit is a Marvel not DC comic character...

yeah and i kinda doubt that the people at thrill valley were anticipating the ride's eventual move to louisiana when they decided to name it Gambit ;)
