This is going to be awesome. I am leaving for the park in about an hour. Have fun reading about the park, while I am visiting it. Ok, I will stop braging. hehe. :)
If you want to read a less biased review go to http://www.mouseplanet.com/dca/index.htm scroll down to maybe half way down and read the review. I'll be the first to say that this review is probaly more negative then it needs to be but I think it gives a better idea of what the new park actually is.
The park is absolutely beautiful! I'm hooked, and I can't wait to go back.
------------- Thank you Disney, thank you...
In the Ace Guide to Ride 2000, they said that the coaster will debut as the longest steel coaster in the world... is that still true?
------------- I'd Rather Be Riding Rollercoasters
I've been to DCA, and I can say for sure that it is a beautiful park. I can also say this park has very little "replay" value for locals. Tourist beware, DCA is not a replacement for a real tour of the wonders of California, despite Disney propaganda. Muppet 3D, Bugs Life 3D, California Dreams, all films that pretty much loose thier punch after one viewing. A tour of a how sourdough bread, tortillas, and wine are made is a one shot deal as well. The only above average ride experience that can't be found at another park or your local carnival is the absolutely amazing "Soarin' Over California", if there is any reason to go to DCA its Soarin'. Make sure you get a fast pass for this one. Soarin' is the only reason you would see me back in this park anytime in the near future, other than that I'm waiting for phase II.
I seriously want to go to California Adventure. It sounds like FUN! :o)
