Islands of Adventure stuntman falls during performance

An actor at Islands of Adventure was injured at the Eighth Voyage of Sindbad attraction on Friday afternoon, causing a trauma alert to be called. Authorities said a stunt performer was doing a rope slide in the stadium and he didn't land where he was supposed to.

Bummer. I have seen this show many times and it never gets old for me. I hope he has a speedy recovery.
I've seen it many times as well. It's not a visit without seeing it. Scary how you could bounce a quarter off of the female lead's stomach.

The show is awesome. The stunts they perform are pretty extreme, and it was probably just a matter of time before someone got hurt. The article said that he was okay, which is great news.
