Islands of Adventure is the best

I have been to plenty of parks, but ioa has got to be the best i have ever been to. Everything about it was amzing, and the rides rule. It wasn't a park but an experience! I love ioa, and i was wondering what everybody else thought

I guess if you think IOA has the best rides you ain't been to SFGAm or Cedar Point! With your comment it isn't a park, but an experience I guess IOA is in a class of its own and cannot be compared to an actual theme park. When you say everything is amazing, well you might be right, because they don't have much there to be amazed at!

The Raging Bull #1!!

I go to SFGAm and CP every summer on numerous occasions. But, I went to IOA in October of 1999, and my jaw still drops when I think of it. It might not have the trill ride caliber of Great America or Cedar Point, it had the most incredible and elaborate theming of any park. Every ride and area was so well themed, you forgot you were in central Florida. I spent two whole days in that park, just absorbing it, and loving every second of it. Universal really put a lot of time and effort into IOA, and it shows!

Its hard to compare IOA to parks like CP and SFGAm. All three parks have outstanding rides. IOA is all about more theme and less rides where as the other two parks are about more rides and less theme. Each park is a different experience. *** This post was edited by hockeyman on 4/11/2001. ***

IOA is one of my faves because it has the best theming I've ever seen and the best of the types of rides it has minus the drop towers-(best)log flume, river raft ride, river tube ride, kiddie suspended, kiddie coaster, launched looper, dueling, invert, tea cups, dark ride,... It is an experience, but still the best theme park anywhere. CP and SFGAm are amusement parks. You can't really compare. I have different kinds of fun at each park, but the theming at IOA and even the Hulk gave me more of a WOW factor than MF and the parks amusements.
