X just vallied. I am not ure where though.
Are you serious? Where did you hear this from?
If it did, I think it vallied before the first raven turn. From videos it looks like it goes really slow there anyway. But that would be my guess.
I wonder how long it would take to remove a vallied 4-D train ;)

Going to SFMM on a Friday EARLY in the day is the way to get X rides...as for DV - been there done that! The one at SFMM has been reliable since they added the platform AFAIK. But really, if you're at SFMM, go for X...WOW! When we went, even Goliath was a walk-on while X was holding almost an hour-long line...if the modifications hold, and the engineers are happy, then I for one Xpect to see more 4-d coasters come '04....
Schilke/Boodley in '04? That's the *ticket* that gets MY vote!
Whizzer74, "vallied" is when the train stalls in the middle of the circuit and must be hoisted to a point where gravity can take over to get the train back to the station. In the case of SFGAm's DV, it could very well mean "Old Man Winter" has claimed the ride for the season.
edit: Haven't heard anything else about X valleying, so I'm *hoping* it's false rumor...

I don't think so. If you can't back it up, don't bother. As far as I can tell, both X and Deja have been doing much better lately. Thankfully, if you visit SFMM now, I would expect to see both open....
Ok guys, X did valley this past week while testing the newly built third train. But if you don't want to believe it unless you see photos, that's your choice. It caused the ride to be down Friday.
Other than that though, X has been running pretty reliably. It actually suffers less down time than Goliath now.
As for Deja Vu, since its been hot these past few months, it hasn't vallied at all. But I'm sure once it gets colder, we will see it valley several times per month.
