Is WOF the only CF park w/o an event?

I was just wondering...is WOF the only Cedar Fair park that does NOT have some type of 'coaster event'?

I know Dorney, CP, VF, KBF, and MIA have one...why not WOF?

Of course, I am conveniently located within 3 hours of WOF and would like to attend an event there. I would also be willing to help organize and run one. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.
GL, CF's newest aquisition has a coaster event too. Coaster EXT. WOF I guess does not.
Maybe they'll start one after this "99.999999999999% gauranteed" 2006 coaster.

Its here... www.gthrills.com
They will be having one next year.

This is a relatively new phenomenon...VF's Coaster Craze is only in its third year and the 'Survive it and Drive it' WT marathon is in its second.

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

Thanks Crystal...I forgot about GL and their event...

They did have one a few years ago, Full Moon Madness or something like that. Also as Jeff said above, they will have one next year. Trust him, he's the ACE area rep. :)
WOF has had MANY events over the years including the once annual Howling event long before Stark Raven Mad. But it has been several years since the Howling took place. I think the last one was in `95. It started as the ACE Fall Con in 1989 (my first coaster event) and then became the Howling after that (always in the fall). Then there was an event in the spring the year Mamba opened, and I think the following year as well. There were additional events including an ACE Coaster Con and Spring Con during this time frame as well. I believe ALL of these events were exclusive to ACE though.

Hmmmm, an event next year, huh? Maybe we need to *nudge* that 99.9999999% figure just a bit higher? ;)

I liked WoF alot. Even though it didn't have the greatest RIDES in the chain (this was '03 when the Arrow headbanger was still around), I thought it was the most *charming* of the CF parks, with fantastic staff...shame T-Wolf wasn't running better, I really did enjoy my day there...
