Is Tomb Raider really a Top Spin??

I'm going to the Tomb Raider media day. I payed alot of cash for press day tickets, and now people are saying it's just a top spin. Is this whole rumor just a joke b/c i don't see why KI would hype up a top spin so much.

First off, if you paid for Media Day tickets, you shouldn’t be there. It’s for the MEDIA and invited guests, not a**holes like you, hence the name MEDIA DAY. Enough said.

It is not a Top Spin. Just have fun. For what it is worth, I didn't get sick.

I would not have typed at all if I had know he paid. That angers me.

Thank you Agent Johnson for the support. It’s people like him that give coaster enthusiasts a bad name. I can’t wait for Tomb Raider, whatever it is. All I know is it will be cool.

Exactly, media day isn't for us. If you pay for tickets, you have no right being there. I've been too a few media days (I was invited), and they weren't all that great. It's not a private ERT session. A lot of sitting around is involved. (Plus I did it for some brutal rides that were NOT fun to re-ride)

Hello!!!!! Where have you been for the past few months with all the rumors of it being a topspin or not, only a few people actually know what this ride is, and for the most part noone on this probably knows what it is, I guess you will have to wait till opening day to find out what Tomb Raider really is along with me and everyone else out there wondering what it is going to be.

Well, a lot of people do tell, but believe me, Johnson won't. Me personally, I probably won't be near PKI this year, but I don't care if what is inside that building is a S&S Frog Hopper, I would happily wait in the queue line and enjoy it. The theming is simply amazing and its easy to tell that the actual thrill ride will only be a small portion of the experience.

I asked him only cause in his statement it sounds like he went on, so I'm seeing if he acutally did, and im asking if you go upside down

Have tickets actually even been sent out and if so, what is the date it will be? I'm pretty sure they wouldn't send them out this early, but I may be wrong. Ditto to what others have said.

I would also like to know about the dizzyness factor or flipping on TRTR as well if you could elaborate AJ. I actually am more worried about that than if its fun, even though I do hope it is, if not for me, but for everyone else.

Lets clear up a few misconceptions here...

"Media Event" invites have not been sent... yet. Paramount's Kings Island does not give tickets for media events. Your name is on a list and you check in at a designated security area. If you are not on the list... then too bad. The only way to be on the list is to have RSVP'd to the formal invite sent by PKI.

Next, PKI is holding a "Sneak Preview" night of sorts for contest winners and radio station give aways. I expect, if you have scalped tickets off of someone, then that is what this is for.

Sorry to say that is not the official media preview. The official media event is earlier than that.

April 3rd is the sneak preview night, the 4th is season pass night and the park is open on Friday the 5th. Sorry, I am not spilling the beans on the actual media event info.
