Is this really true about BGT?? :-(

The Skycoaster is 300 ft. The sling shot can go as high as 380 ft but it all depends on weight.

Didnt The Busch company announce after Rhino Ralley that they were not gonna build any big new Rides/Rollercoasters for a while(I think so). I think it was to do with the company doing rather well in profits etc and that the felt that each park could cope finacially for the next few years without any major New Rollercoasters/Rides. I think they said they will still improve Parks but only install/build things like small rides/Restaurants/Shops/stalls etc.

I'm sure I heard this after Rhion Ralley was built or around about then anyway. Can anyone back me up?? I'm sure I heard this when Bush released a press release all about it

I think BGT is doing an excellent job in choosing which attractions they should add for the park. Sure, it would be nice to get a new coaster but if they don't that doesn't mean I'm never going there again. Besides, they should build up their flat rides a little before investing in major rides- IMO.

BGT is a great competitor for the Florida parks because it is very family friendly. You can spend hours there without going on a coaster and still you aren't bored.

The last time I went to Busch Gardens me and my friends spent 2 hours in the King Tut exhibit just listening to the audio playing over and over. It was the one of the best times I've had a park.

Does this thing go faaaaaast!

Let's see, isn't the park terchnically a "Zoo?". Do they need a hyper to survive? No. Do they make year round money? Yes.

Sorry, kind of off topic Pink Floyd Fanatic, but before I saw this post I was looking at pictures of the coasters at BGT on RCDB.com, while listening to the Pink Floyd song Time from Echoes I heard the line "And then one day you find ten years have got behind you", thinking, when is that park going to get another coaster hopefully sooner than ten years from the last one. I am not kidding, this all happened about a minute before I saw the post. Well, at least your park is open year round, and at least you have a wooden coaster unlike BGW.

Actually my home park is Valleyfair but I have a nephew living near BGT and my parents live about 2 hrs away during the winter months. I wish there was a really good year round hypercoaster fully loaded with airtime. All of the good ones are in seasonal parks and Goliath had only one airtime hill tow if you count the first drop. Helixes with high positive Gs don't do nothing for me than to make me sick! I want year round nonstop airtime like on Magnum, the SROS hypers, or Mamba or Shivering Timbers or the Georgia Cyclone! FL has NOTHING of that quality! :-( I'm only asking for ONE park in central or southern FL to build a top 5 airtime machine and Gwazi and DBH are a little too weak!

last tiume i rode dbh it has ejector air just as nutty as any hyper all over hteplace i will take that any day of the year i do not need to drop to be over 200 as much as i woukld like it to be...
But I have also heard that sometimes you get a bad (weak) ride on it. I haven't had a chance to try it yet but I was going according to trip reports.
