Is this picture right

I found this picture on the Six Flags website. If I am looking at this right, shouldn't Nitro not be in view? I am wondering if I have been away that long or maybe this picture is incorrect. Mayhaps they photoshop'd this photo to show the height variance between it and Nitro. Experts.... Crashmando, Jayrider???

EDIT: Silly me! Even after reading TeCHno's (:))thread about making hyperlinks I still couldn't get it right. Oy!

Ummmm, it's the double http:// problem....just eliminate the FIRST http from the URL and it loads just fine...

gator, Kan't wait for Ka...:)

edit: Yes, 'Tuan, I believe that Nitro SHOULD be out of the frame on the left side....FAR out of view given this angle...;)

But, OTOH, you can't blame GAdv for wanting to get their hyper in the pic...LOL!

That is not a photo. It is an artists rendering of the ride. Of course it is not going to be perfect.

Guess who's back? Back Again? James K's back. Tell a friend.

Keith added that to make it look more interesting and he knows that Nitro isn't located there.

Yes Nirto doesn't belong there. It would be on the right of medusa not the left.

Thanks,
DMC

No, it's left.

its simply to give a line of reference to how tall this thing will be.
i made a comment about that in the first Kingda Ka thread, lol....i was like, uhh, what is nitro doin there?

but yea, but that does give a good indication as to Kingda Ka's height comparison to the other coasters in the park :)

Tim...who still refuses to say "KK"

still trying to think of a good signature...

Yeah, Nitro definitely should not be there, nor should Medusa be in the spot it is in...but both Sam and "some call him..." Tim (LOL) do make a good point, that it does serve as a good reference to the other coasters in the park. Damn that thing is gonna be huuuuuuuuuuuuge!

Kinda separate but equal question here...how much does Dragster stand out view-wise and location-wise in the park? Is it visible from everywhere in the park? How far away can you see it? I'm just trying to get some kind of imagination/idea of what it will be like out here, driving up and possibly seeing Kingda Ka before we even see the rest of the park. Help anyone?

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

Bite me, Tuan;).
The hostility Tekno! I though we was dogs yo :)
What's an "emgee"? Should I be proud?

Ah, ya knows I still spect ya;).

You're one because you noticed that pic was wrong...I'm one just because;).

Its a term of endearment, 'Tuan. We're all emgees ;)

TTD is very visible from pretty much anywhere in the park.

Both Nitro and Medusa are a bit scrunched in for this picture.

Actually, I can see it from San Diego. ;)

Actually TTD's pretty hard to see from many spots in Millennium's line and from that side of the park. It's kind of funny to watch people try and look for the ride and turn around in circles trying to get their bearings, not realizing that TTD's behind a bunch of trees or behind Mantis. :) (myself included)
