Is this a joke?

North Dakota, where the state motto is "40 below and no trees keeps the riff-raff out." They used to put up billboards that said "Mountain removal project 90% complete."

At least it's easy to get rides in on all the coasters in the Dakotas in one trip.

"Mountain removal project 90% complete."

Now THAT'S funny! ;)

I even have to admit that was awesome. :)

FYI. there isn't any coasters up here in the boonies. :(

(I hate ND) ;)

i'm not sure what to put here..

Well considering Duane has done an April Fool's joke on a restaurant that seels nothing but blue food and Magnum being painted purple and green in previous years, I can say with certainty that he has struck yet again.

It's still me, here from the beginning back in 1999. Add 1500+ posts to the number I have in the info section if you care about such things.

Why would they seel only the blue food? ;)
My bad, seel should be sell. Perhaps it was a typo or a side effect of slight inebriation...you be the judge. ;)

I was just teasing you, CPG...I knew it was supposed to be "sell" but your typo resulted in something funny ;)
I'll have to keep in mind that Duane does these things. The site is such a "just the facts" site that it threw me. It wasn't until thinking it over later that I realized how funny it really was.

I'm a sucker, I guess.

I want to live where it's all the same. I want to live where it's all just like today. I want to live where it's always Saturday.
This story was planned by Holiday Park since last november. They even involved a heavy-equipment crane company who made photo-sessions with seven giant cranes and a group of alledged feng-shui monks.

The impact of the story was so big that even the largest news-stations wanted to send journalists and camera teams to the park.

All in all it was germanys biggest april fool joke for quite some time.

I really wonder what people are willing to believe if its presented in a convincing way.

Anyway, a great promo-stunt for Holiday Park, who have to struggle very hard to survive next to huge Europapark.
