Is there a way to get into gl on the 11th

Tuesday, September 6, 2005 5:20 PM
I have checked websites and all, because my friend wanted to know if there was a way to go that day. It is a private event, and somehow her boyfriend got a ticket and she wanted to know if there was a way or who is this event for. Any help would be appreciated.

If the boyfriend has one ticket, why not just buy another from the same source?

The park is closed for a PRIVATE EVENT that day, so unless you are participating in that event, you are out of luck. The park is open on the 10th though! Plus, the best event of the season is the following week. Maybe you could wait until then.

I work at Progressive and I'm not going. I work with those people 5 days a week... why should I have to see them on the weekend at one of my favorite hangouts? ;)

And besides, Sam is absolutely right. The best event of the year is the following weekend. Oktoberfest traditionally rocks. I hope the crowds are a little larger than last year though. It was kind of sad seeing the entertainment playing to empty seats!

Go to Oktoberfest! You won't regret it.

trust me ill be there. Last year i was drunk, we have a loud group, we were riding the villain like champs last year. Must not have felt it from being so hammered. I will be there on saturday, about after five. Just come look for a bunch of older people with a bunch of college age guys, that will be us.

Ask ShiveringTim or ProgRay. They're both still working there, I think.
