Is the Boomerang an enjoyable ride.

I think Boomerangs are very good. Its one of the few types of coasters that have backward vertical loops. You get pressed on the OSTRs on the way back
I think it is a fun ride, and I think Deja-Vu would increase the thrill in that type of coaster.

Why are you mentioning Screemin Demon (Thunderbolt Express @ Camden Park) when it is a shuttle coaster, not a boomerang.
The only boomerangs i've ridden are face/off @ pki and vampire @ sfkk (now flashback @ sfne)

I've always enjoyed them.
Last year when I was at SFO(SFWoA),I went on the Mind Eraser with the OTSR not locked down at all.
Well it was more like being able to lift it halfway up and still had a great ride,very smooth and no it doesn't push you against the restraints going backwards.

I thought I was the only person who adored Boomerangs! Where are all the haters? THIS IS GREAT! We should start our own coaster club! Traveling parks around the world riding the Boomerang! Well anyway..
I rode my first at SFMW last week and Invertigo at PGA it was spectacular for such a short wait! It had a 2 train wait and I would of defently rode it if it was a 30 minute wait. The Queue's of Boomerang's are ususally very cool right in the middle of the ride. I thought the Invertigo would be much better, but they aren't that much better! There more smooth and more intense and the face to face seating is a blast! I totally agree with Bruce! It's amazing what it feels like going up the lift! Your whole body leans onto the OTSR! The backwards part is INSANE!

Boomerangs look awesome :) I've never been on one, but tomorrow will be my first time. I'm so excited, I can't wait!

yes they are"
Compared to other rides they're not. If you truly think they're a really good ride you must have not ridden very many coasters.
