I'm not insulting Talon or B&M. But I was just wondering is Talon going to be worth the trip to Allentown, Pennsylania? It looks not as exciting as Montu, Raptor, or Alpengeist. it proboly is very, very good but I was looking at the track layout and it seemed short. I don't know because I didn't ride it. What does everyone else think?
Have you seen pictures of this ride yet? If you haven't, find some and I bet you'll find it better than you thought. It looks great! Wish I could get out to that part of the state to ride it.

Thank you for riding America's Roller Coast
Why not? I feel any new coaster is worth the trip to a park and give it a try. At first I thought Talon would be a dud (still could I guess) but looking at the layout and tight space it should be a fantastic ride. Anyway even if it does stink it will be at least the second best invert in PA. ;)

Not Too Shabby For A Summer
Yes, it will be worth it. Very worth it.

Cedarfair is good
Talon is slated as being the "Longest Inverted Coaster in the North East." I don't think it's that short of a ride :)
And besides, it's not like Talon is the only coaster in the park. Even if you have been there before it should still be worth a trip back when you add in Steel Force.

Talon looks incredable to me. It just looks like there is gonna be some nice leg chopper effects, and it's a cool layout.

MF Drops-15
SOB Rides-2
I didn't know it was the longest inverted coaster in the northeast. Sorry. I have been there and have rode Steel Force. It reminds me of Magnum. Talon does look good I was just wondering what everyone else thought.
Talon looks sweet. I dont see why you are all talking "Smack" about it. The ride looks so cool.

Best Steel
1.) Millennium Force - CP
2.) Medusa - SFMW
3.) Top Gun - PGA
4.) Stealth -PGA
Cruising into 2001.....
Islands of Adventure in February
Six Flags Magic Mountain in December
Not only is it the longest, but also the tallest. Another thing that park spokesman have said is that they are waiting for speed tests on the ride to determine if it will indeed be faster than Great Bear (58 miles per hour). In my personal opinion, I have ridden nearly all the B&M inverts, except for several Batman: The Rides, and some foreign ones, and Talon is the one whos layout excites me the most. I think that nearly every rider who takes on this metallic beast in the summer will agree that it is one damn fine coaster. No questions asked. Now if only it was May 5th!

Cedarfair is good
Truthfully I could care less about records that Talon takes, all I know is it is a very tight compacted coaster that IMO will be a knock-out coaster. Another thing the color scheme is awesome :)

Talon is going to rock, roll, and take its toll!
I think Talon will not be worth the trip because I believe that Talon looks like many other small B&M inverted coasters. The track layout looks similar to Top Gun at PGA. I also believe that B&M overcharged Dorney Park for building such a small coaster.
Similar? Nah.. Talon is longer, yet compact atthe same time.. Intense? Hell yeah!!
It's worth a trip, plus there are so many other parks close by..

Uh... Such a small coaster? Did you read the rest of the posts? Its the tallest and longest in the northeast, and I think it has an awesome and unique layout.
IMO it's a B&M coaster so it will be awesome.
Talon looks amazing!! I really would love to get out to Dorney for it, but I know it won't happen soon. I hope they build one of these at Knott's, mirror image maybe?
